Motel 6 Auburn, CA

First the positives. Super nice front desk people and nice lobby area. Pool looked nice, but I didn't use it. Comfortable bed with clean linens and bathroom was adequate with clean towels. Wifi was reliable and reasonably fast. No noise issues staying on the 2nd floor after I requested a move from the 1st floor next to the parking lot and entry. In the parking lot are new looking EV DC fast chargers — a nice amenity for guests or anyone with an EV.||There were aesthetic issues with the room that were good reminders it was a two-star hotel, which in that sense met my expectations. But I was surprised there was no shampoo or conditioner provided in the shower. ||Even though I was in a non-smoking room and there was no smell of cigarette smoke inside the room, as soon as I walked out into the

Rooms and staff are great! Right off the freeway easy access Starbucks and fast food nearby. And fancier food if you were looking for it. It does have a noisy back door but it has increased privacy and it has electric power parking

This was a really nice motel. 6. It was beautiful. Quiet clean. Had electric vehicle chargers and highly convenient to the highway for a quick stop. Had a nice looking pool but we didn't have time to use it. I will definitely use this as my stopover in Auburn in the future.

The guy at the front desk helped me out n took away some of my stress. Which meant a lot. The rooms are kinda stinky like stale smoke and stuff in the room were broken but the service was good for sure

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in. Mold in the shower, the tray on the sink counter had hair shavings all over it, there was a pill on the floor next to the bed. Carpets are filthy in the hallway, nobody has vacuumed in a long time. Stairwell have open windows with dirt built up on the wood, it smells like cigarettes.
