We stayed in the Sand Dollar Suite #5 from Augus 12-15th, 2025|Things we loved: the view, the hospitality (ask and receive with a smile), the location, the comfort (beds and sitting space), AC in every room, cleanliness (it was clean and it smelled clean), self serve beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys, plenty of bath towels and hot water, 6 people seating kitchen table. The kitchen has everything you need.|Things we wished we had: an outdoor sitting area with a beach view-you could use the small table and chairs at the end of the balcony, but it didn’t feel right as you were sitting directly in front of someone’s else’s unit. My husband and I recently stayed at Atlantic Ocean Suites, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spotless cleanliness, modern decor, and thoughtful amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional hospitality. On our checkout day, the owner kindly allowed us to leave our car parked at the hotel so we could squeeze in a few more hours at the beach. They even offered access to the pool bathroom before we left, a small gesture that made a big difference. The amenities were beyond what we expected. They provided everything for a perfect beach day: chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even toys for kids. Unfortunately we had to cancel our family vacation do to a family emergency. We emailed Sunday night and first thing Monday morning a very nice and understanding lady reached out and said she would have no problem refunding our deposit. We have been staying here the last 10 years. Great place to stay. Now I know where we will be staying every time we visit OOB. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay with people who actually care about the customer, I would recommend Atlantic Ocean suite 10/10 times. Thanks for you understanding. Have a great summer

My family has been staying at this hotel for the 4th of July for many years. This year we had a family emergency a few days before we were supposed to leave. I emailed the office explaining the situation, and received an email back the next morning. The lovely woman on the phone was sympathetic to our situation and offered to refund our deposit. We are so grateful that this place cares about the families that stay with them! We will never stay anywhere else in OOB!

We just spent a wonderful vacation at the Atlantic Ocean Suites in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. We were there for 6 days with our family of 7. The suite was spacious and clean. There was a full kitchen which was amazing for our family. The beach was extremely close and we walked to the pier every day. The kids had a great time at the (indoor) pool as well which is a great amenity in case the weather doesn't cooperate. They had beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, and beach towels for us to use during our stay - which was great as we didn't have to bring with us. The owner really cares about her guests and ensuring they have a lovely stay. Highly recommend this gem!
