Anchor Beach Inn Crescent City

The room was beautiful and clean. Loved the location being able to walk to the beach in a couple minutes. Ocean view. Virtual check in was strange but went smoothly. Morning staff was super friendly. My only complaint is- they state they offer breakfast. Waffle maker in review photos etc. it’s more of a grab and go granola bars, apples, or twinkies. Still thoughtful but I would not consider this “breakfast included”.

We loved the room and location. We had an ocean view. We always travel with our dog and were so happy to find a clean room that accepts dogs. My only complaint is that you use a room spray that is extremely overwhelming. We opened the windows and went to the ocean for a while in hopes the smell would clear out. It did not. Also, you need to update your mattresses old spring mattresses are not very comfortable.

This was a great stay without a doubt. The first time I've ever used a digital video check in and there were no problems. It's pet friendly and that's what we needed. The 2 ladies who were there in the morning were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. Went way above to help out on a situation that came up and I truly appreciate it. YES!!! We will be back. Thank you again for a really great stay, and for all the help. It was truly appreciated.

Positive: We had a problem with a plugged toilet, the hotel maintence fixed it immediately. Great location. Negative: A better breakfast would be good

I enjoyed my two night stay here. Room was very clean and comfortable. I was just across the way from the beach so I could walk there. Good places to eat within walking distance. Check in was a little different it was virtual and person was very pleasant. I would not say they have breakfast, more like coffee and muffins in the lobby and that is all. I would suggest that they install grab bars in the bathrooms. It was a little scary to get in and out of the shower with nothing to hold onto. I would stay here again. You are close to the Trees of Mystery and all sorts of places to stop and enjoy the sites. Nic
