Great location, friendly service, clean rooms, and affordable. This is an older motel that has been maintained very well. It's close to the historic district and the beaches. If you don't need all the amenities of a big hotel this is a great place to stay while visiting St. Augustine.

My wife and I stayed here for a week during nights of lights. We cannot say enough about this place. Its a close walk over the bridge to st geoge st and downtown, but away from the heavy crowds. The management is super friendly and helpful . Its clean , quiet , and inexpensive. We will definitely be staying here again .

From the outside, I was prepared for the worst. The roof is torn up as if being worked on, but no sign of workers during my stay. I was pleasantly surprised, however, when entering my room. The interior of the rooms is a little dated, but felt very clean and I was quite comfortable for the 2 night stay. The pool is tiny but fine for a quick dip after a long day. No view to speak of, but only a short walk from the Bridge of Lions and historic downtown on the other side of the inlet. There's a cute mini golf just a short walk away and the lighthouse and alligator farm are also quite close.|Simple breakfast items are available by the check-in desk in the morning (coffee, tea, cereal, bagels, muffins). Nothing fancy, but enough to get a quick start to the day.|Overall, for the price I p

Positive: I avoided all the downtown traffic by walking across nearby Lions Bridge. They had 25 cent postcards at the front desk. Negative: The room needed some electrical work, as one outlet didn't work, and the wall sconces didn't turn on. The bed top covers were shabby and dirty.

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It's an older accommodation and this reflects in the decor and lower price. Nevertheless we had a good stay.
