Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Louis, St. Charles Inn

Positive: They had the two beds room still available that I reserved, but there was no lock on the door. I didn’t know that was an option; I thought locks were standard. Negative: No lock on room door. Was required to write down my credit card information so they could charge it later in the week. (That doesn’t seem secure!) The “continental breakfast” was stale cereal, no fruit, no eggs, no yogurt.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The pool was ice cold and was told they are not getting the heaters fixed. There are long term people in other rooms that have absolute priority over the other guest they put me above one of them and then the lady kept knocking on my door and telling me to be quiet when we are not doing anything. They refused to me me rooms until I packed up halfway threw my stay. But by then it was to late I had to go find another hotel at 11pm because my gf was scared for her safety and the staff said sorry that lady is going threw something but she's a long term guest here. Absolutely horrible

The price and location isnt horrible. But the people staying there are ehh.. Not super sketchy.. but its not the best. Im a man, so I'd stay here again, and the staff seems awesome.. but its a cheap hotel near a casino.. rooms are quiet and safe feeling.. just the people around there are.. yeah.

This plate was disgusting. It was so dirty I'm glad we're up to date on vaccines. They had a sign at their desk "no maid service" even for overnight guests. We would have gone to a different place but had driven 9 hours and had pets. ||They had a "pet friendly" room. The front desk female clerk gave us a key that didn't work and then disappeared for 45 minutes and just left a sign at the desk. When she finally came back (with a guy), she gave us another key to the room, which also didn't work. The third time she went up to check it herself and the door was broken. She gave us a different room. ||Walk into the room and everything is dirty and everything in it is old. We should have known since the hotel lobby also smelled. The hotel smelled nasty. The door lock was broken on my room. Had to pay a $50 deposit on December 19 It is now January 5 and it is still pending a $50 deposit Called asked why she said that I needed to call back and give her some time to figure out if she’s giving me the 50 bucks back On top of it, took two phone calls for Them to finally spell my last name, correct If anybody’s looking for a hotel, I would just pay the extra 20-40 bucks and avoid this place at all cost They have tons of bad reviews. I wish I would’ve saw them.
