I was originally staying in Auburn, but my hotel was overbooked, and there were no rooms available. I found out at 5 p.m. on a Friday, during a football weekend, so basically, there was nothing available in Auburn. A quick search on my phone showed this place had rooms, so I booked a room without reading any reviews (bad idea). The room was as others described, old, and had a weird, musty smell. However, it was relatively clean (all things considered). Then there was my card reader lock on the door. After returning from the football game at 2:00 a.m., it wouldn’t read the key. I guessed the batteries were dead, so the desk clerk had to call in someone to unlock my door. That took about 20-30 minutes, but still, it shouldn’t have happened. Great price , pretty pool, comfy bed… that’s all. Killed 3 cockroaches in my room . No CO 2/ smoke detector in ceiling receptacle. No stopper for the sink.Most of the vending machines don’t work. Room AC filter was filthy and frame was broken. Tissue box receptacle was empty and rusted. Partial paint job done on damaged plaster. No bulb in the lamp. TV screen was damaged, only got the upper half of the picture. First room offered wreaked with mildew and urine odor , AC cord had been spliced together the second had all the other issues.The list goes on… Front desk tried to help but was herself embarrassed by the hotel’s appearance, felt sorry for her. To much ignored here for too long . To the owner. Get a decent maintenance guy before you loose all your business. You could have a great

We got this room because I was having back surgery at the hospital there.It is 2 stories no elevators. Walking up there were many people hanging around some working on cars. People hanging out in halls key didn't work 1st time. Every light and appliance was unplugged bathroom mirror had a large mess like soap lather and a big X drawn through it. No kleenex just a rusted out place no trashcan in bathroom bedspread covered with burn marks. The air-conditioning worked great and it was quiet in the romper. Never Again

Don't stay here! It's horrible Started off in one room and had to change because the toilet wasn't working. The next room was worse. Bathroom wasn't cleaned and I stepped on glass in the bathroom floor. Took it to the front desk and showed them my foot and they said "well we don't recommend walking around barefooted." We wanted a refund and they would only refund $35. Also website says breakfast included but they do not have breakfast available at all. Pool was open but was green and nasty.
