Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Hyannis Cape Cod

I needed a budget friendly, safe place to stay in Cape Cod, and this fit the bill. The room was mostly clean…acceptable as far as I’m concerned. I don’t like to wear shoes and had to keep a washcloth and antibacterial wipes next to the bed because the floor REALLY could use a good scrubbing. My feet were absolutely filthy walking around on it. But, like I said, I found a way around it. The friendliness of the staff really made up for it. The entrance to your room is directly from the parking lot. There was only a chain on the door, which I was apprehensive about, but it was pretty safe from what I could tell. There are two pools that both looked very nice, but I didn’t have time to use them. Keys are old school keys instead of key cards, which I like. Overall, a pretty pleasant stay.

Positive: I loved the fact that the room was affordable. Thank you for that. I loved the fact that it's just a walk from the Steamship also. I look forward to my next stay there. Negative: Not really, It was sufficient for all my needs. Nice clean, quiet room.

I wanted to do a two day fishing trip in Hyannis and chose the motel for an overnight stay. I have some very high standards when we travel but since I was alone I thought why not save a few bucks by abasing my standards. It wasn’t very far from the port and near places to shop and eat so I chose this one. |When I drove in I noticed that there were quite a few families lodging there and it did have a small but clean pool. After checking in I was really surprised at how neat and clean my room was and the bathroom was huge. Everything looked neat and freshly painted. The air conditioning worked and wasn’t annoyingly loud. ||I slept very well and it was quite quiet with families there. The guest and the gentleman who checked me in were very friendly and kind. Don’t stay here if you want to have clean water. The brown-red water started in the middle of the night and the one employee we interacted with about it was unhelpful and rude. We both noticed the dirty water in the toilet and sink over night. It didn’t clear up and left very visible residue in all the bathroom basins. We let the water run for over 20 min and it was still brown-red. The employee didn’t apologize and acted indifferent to the whole situation (we couldn’t shower, wash our faces or brush our teeth). He said it wasn’t his problem. He didn’t offer any solutions. I had to ask for a refund. He said he could do half off. Then refused in the lobby and only did $25 off. It was all up to him but he chose poor customer service and rudeness. He said it was the city construction and I c

You get exactly what you pay for. I only stayed here so I could get to the steamship authority early the next day. It's ok, but there was a weird odor in the room I couldn't place. Kind of like if you left furniture and an attic for a really long time. Maybe the place is just old.
