Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Denton

The rooms weren't the best, and the front desk could be more friendly. They required a $100 deposit for my son's service dog that I was supposed to get back as long as she didn't damage anything, which she didn't, and I never saw a penny back. They'll do anything to keep your money, and they require cash which nobody seems to do anymore. I had to go to the bank to withdraw cash before I could even let my adult son in the room after having paid online. I wasn't going to leave the dog in the room until I came back. She sheds a bit, but they have to vacuum and sweep anyway. I wouldn't go back unless it was the only place in Denton.

The place is very clean and nice. It is cheap and its friendly staff hosted me on July 11, 2023 for two days and everything was very pleasant. They spent cleaning the room and the cleaning lady was very friendly. I recommend this place 100% . 08/12/2023 Second time that we stayed in this place and very badly we paid 110 dollars for a room with two beds and the beds were infested with bedbugs. We left and handed over the card and they did not return any money. Very poor quality of accommodation...we had to drive home for 5 hours. Poor hotel quality.

The outside appearance was a little iffy. However, the room details were pretty cool. The jacuzzi tub wS marlble and big enough you could almost swim. The kings room was alright. They have a canopy bed with marble headboard and marble pillars around the bed as well a a step. Mirror walls and one on the ceiling, which was weird, reminded me of the fair funny house mirrors! So the downside of this visit was roach in the bathroom , with no light bulb in the bathroom and no coffee pot or coffee in the room. Breakfast consisted of waffles , trix cereal, and frosted flakes. Sunny D juice, milk, and coffee. You could make toast, and the butter was served in the original container ,"imperial" tub. The manager is friendly as well as reception. There were no bed bugs in my bed or room (but I did find one in my shower on like day 3; washed it down the drain and that was it), but there was some hair on the sheets/pillows and one of the pillows was stained in places. Cigarette burns on the sheets in my no smoking room. But my biggest problem was that my hair dryer didn't work, and nobody seemed to care. I was there for 2 weeks and never got a replacement, only empty promises.

Very dirty sheets were stained and very terrible painting on the inside of the walls. Very old and everything is bolted to the tables... Breakfast is served from 6 to 9, we went down at 8 and they were already out of pretty much everything and we're not going to restock. They said they took AAA discount but when looking at my bill they did not apply it.. as I stated places old has not been kept up pretty much like slumlords owning it. For $80 a night you would think you get a better deal but you won't.. definitely a one or two star tops Hotel.
