This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel or motel. The front desk person working the night of Jan. 11, 2026 was incredibly rude and inappropriate. This place is running a scam. The hotel claims to be pet-friendly, we came in with our cats visible and meowing. The man checks us in, charges our card, and we go to the room. Within minutes he comes knocking saying cats are not allowed and we need to get out right now. I said we need to find an alternative hotel and get our cats back in their carriers before we can leave. He says he will give us five minutes, but comes back and opens the door after a minute and demands we get out of the room. The room we had last night was completely disgusting. When we first got there it took three times that are key didn't work and the gentleman at the desk had to come up and let us into our room. My husband went into the bathroom to find someone's nasty dirty shirt behind the bathroom door. There was used washcloths hand towels and soap left on the sink no clean ones the gentleman from the front desk brought us fresh clean hand towels and washcloths. The room smell like body odor and stale smoke. When we looked in the drawers there was people's garbage in there. The receipt that they checked in on November 20th and checked out on November 22nd was in there. You're cleaning staff does not clean very good at all. Beware of fake positive reviews. This place was awful before I even got to settle into the room. They let me check in with my cats, pay, and then demanded I get out immediately because they do not allow cats. The front desk worker threatened to call the police if I didn't vacate immediately even when I said I needed to get my bags, cats, and find an alternative hotel. He kicked us out in the dark, in cold weather, after we had driven over 7 hours. Very cruel service, and I am convinced they are running a scam about their pet policy.
