Americas Best Value Inn Ocean Inn

We only stayed one night but it was well worth it for the price. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. We had an oversize mini fridge in our room #146. We killed a spider but no pests. We used the hot tube and it was great. Check-in was smooth thanks to Carley and Maria, our housekeeper, was very nice. Taco's Queen in the parking lot was excellent and you didn't need to drive. The free breakfast was excellent. We will stay there again.

Nice rooms with no rust, but they seem to be missing a coach. It's nice that they don't have overly complicated frills just quick and simple things but nice bathtubs always clean and with fresh towels. Very nice housekeepers and supportive human front desk. No surprise fees or lousy tourists. Breakfast could use some protein like eggs and a meat option. It's across the beach and in the middle of too many things to do around to even post here. The pool could be warmer for the winter cold days... Very reasonable price for all the aftermentioned. The staff is very friendly and supportive. We even got some free beers someone left in another room!

Great location and competitive with area hotels. Floors were disgustingly sticky, to the point where my new shoe inserts started coming out with my feet due to the stickiness. Housekeeping kindly mopped the next day without frustration. Sheets were extremely abrasive, even after linen was changed. Excellent customer service from checkin to checkout.

I've stayed in over a thousand hotels in my time. Let me warn everybody coming to St Augustine. Use this place as a last resort. It was a clean property by far. But the staff, woah! I thought we were on the stage of a movie set at night and early in the am. The owners allow all the local less than fortunate people stay in the motel with animals and all there staff. People slamming doors all night, dogs barking, people yelling, people smoking marijuana by the pool with dogs in the chained in area, the list is ongoing. Plus when you choose to stay at a hospitality based business, you expect some actual hospitality. Here it felt like a jail and every time you leave your room your being inspected and all the employees in the afternoon all hang off the balconies drinking and being really obnoxi
