Americas Best Value Inn Augusta South

nasty. parking sucks. we made the mistake of not viewing the room before we paid so we couldn’t get a refund. we walked in and walked back out and came to the Hampton Inn an exit down.

When we arrived the guy at the front desk was super nice, but that was the only time he was there. When we got to our room it smelled like strong chemicals, the bed sheets were stained the cover had burn marks in them so did the table next to the bed and the circular table did too. When turning on the heat it smelled like it was going to catch on fire. The door didn't even have a chain lock and we had to depend on the knob lock to keep the room locked at night. We ended up putting the bigger table in front of the door for extra security. The mini fridge looked and smelled horrible. There was roaches all over the bathroom. The bathtub had cigarettes burns and I guess they forgot to tell us it cost extra for a shower curtain. The only thing that was in the room was a bed, TV, and a mini frid

parking was terrible, bad customer service, found multiple roaches in the room and almost slept in our car,

The woman in room 103 was very loud and fighting and on drugs. This was 2/19/2025. I couldn't get no sleep because she had people in and out the room all night. Please be more selective of who y'all allow to stay there. I tried calling management they wouldn't pick up phone.

This is a place I would not stay. I didn't stay here but a friend of mine was. I was invited in and the first thing I saw was a roach. It got worse from there. Walls was dirty, spider in bathroom and I saw more roaches, bed uncomfortable, I had to fix the toilet so it would flush and the front desk person was just horrible in my opinion. Bad customer service skills. Never have to worry about me every booking a room there. Seem to me like a lot more money went into security cameras verses the rooms.
