Americas Best Value Inn Alpine

Safe and fairly clean place. Room was not smelling fresh and smelled like it was closed for many days. "Breakfast included" is advertised but breakfast was almost not available. The oatmeal packets were looking old, we didn't even take those. No milk,and NOT even a simple normal bread was available. There was noone to attend the customers, when called someone came and said there are bagels available but those too were stale looking. And we tried taking at least a coffee while checking out, the coffee was weirdly bitter, so we didn't get to drink that too. And the fruits arranged in the breakfast area were FAKE, those were just for decoration.

Positive: Very nice owners/operators. Well run and clean. Not fancy but everything you need. I would highly recommend this hotel while in Alpine, visiting Sul Ross University or exploring Big Bend National Park. Negative: Would love to see an expanded breakfast offering.

Last minute stop after being in Big Bend. We found our room very clean, comfortable and large. The shower was great, lot of hot water and pressure. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. In the morning, the breakfast area was very nice.

This was my first time coming to Alpine Tx with my Daughter. And the staff here at Americans Best Value Inn was outstanding. The lady at the front desk made our stay wonderful anything we needed or asked about things to do while here she gave us information on. The Tom Kelmer Tour since we didn't have a car was even more enjoyable cause it gave us the opportunity to do things in Davis county also we really appreciate thank you so much ☺️😊

I'm leaving this 5 star because the staff is incredible. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, and were extremely friendly.
