America's Best Inn Lakeland

The room was gross. It was dirty. There was some sort of oil on the top sheet (too thin to be called a comforter) and burn holes. The nightstand looked like it had a thousand cigerets put out on it. There were too many things to describe. Look at the pictures I've attached. I've stayed at America's Best before, I know it is a low end chain, but this was the worst hotel room I've ever had and I've traveled to S America, Asia, and Africa.

All the non smoking rooms smell like smoke. I had to spend my last to purchase odor ban just so my family and can sleep the night. They have to do a better job at cleaning. And making certain the nonsmoking rooms are solely reserved for nonsmoking guess.

Beware and stay away from this hotel. Reserved a room October 11 around 12:30. We were told we couldn't check in until after 3:00 which was fine. Checked in around 6:30 to what was supposed to be a non smoking room Got to the room and it smelled like cigarettes and there was even an ashtray for smoking. The room also smells horrible of mold/mildew. The beds covers are either dirty or very stained. Pillows look like they are 10 years old. The water in the shower does not work. Carpets and floors were not cleaned as there were dirt and food all over. The toilet was dirty and had other people's hairs all over it. The rooms are filthy. We were desperate due to hurricane Milton and having no power or water at home. While in the room I had two full on asthma attacks and couldn't breath so we

🛑STOP 🛑STOP 🛑STOP This place is junk. Very Rude front desk lady. Rooms are very dirty and full of bad smell. Even the shower water is mixed with sewage. Roaches 🪳 are playing all around the bed. I got sick because of this dirty room. I asked front desk to change bedding but she denied. I asked for a TV remote. She suggested me to change tv channels manually. My suggestion is don’t ever stay there even for a free night stay. I wish I could give them -5 stars.

Positive: Nothing!! There was nothing positive about this place. It was the worst place iI've ever seen. I'm not sure how this place is not shut down!! Negative: Everything, dirty, roaches, bed bugs, burn holes in all the bedding, doors broken kicked in, locks on the doors did not work, no chain lach for doors all broken off, filthy dirty, loud, derug addicts every where, some one tried to break into my car sever
