I’m really enjoyed my stay at Aloft. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully designed. Mine has a comfortable sitting area and a table, plus a mini fridge and coffee maker which makes it easy to relax or get a little work done. The open-concept layout with the bathroom works well and feels modern. The lobby area is one of the coolest parts of the hotel. There’s a fun, social vibe with things like a pool table and plenty of space to hang out. It feels lively but still comfortable. Everything throughout the hotel has been very clean, and the staff has been incredibly friendly. One of the nicest little touches was the cookies at check-in — such a simple thing, but it made the welcome feel extra special. Overall, it’s a really cool place to stay with a great atmosphere and a lot
I really can't say enough food things about this self-contained micro-resort! Firstly the root of any business is always going to be the people, and two staff members definitely need to be recognized, Genise (afternoon shift) and Zaria (morning shift). The customer service at this hotel was like something out of a story about when you walk through the door and when you come down the stairs in the morning. Everything else about it however, is super modern. Has a great area where my family was able to play board games and relax. Swimming pool is indoors and heated, and was wonderful to hang out by. The fitness room has actual free weights and enough room to move them, as well as a good cable setup, cardio machines, and bosu balls, bands, and belts galore. There is a protected sanctuary outdo
The manager Leah Frazier is the most unhelpful and ill mannered woman I have encountered in a long time. I booked a hotel room for 2 nights via Orbitz because I had a red eye flight and needed to check in at 7AM. I spoke with Leah Frazier on the phone the day before arriving to ensure that I would be able to check in early morning when I arrived, because technically I reserved and paid for a room for 2 nights. Though I booked through Orbitz, which is a third party and I understand some hotels don’t like that, I was fully PAYING for a service and confirmed via telephone that I would be checking in. However, when I arrived to the front desk, Leah Frazier was the least helpful and abruptly rude lady. She seemed incompetent at basic computer tasks and told me my reservation had been cancelled
Overall experience was terrible and I would not recommend this hotel. Parking - the hotel needs to advise on their website and in their policy that parking in the lot by the hotel is $25 per night. Or, you have to pay to park on the street. Parking on the street is free on The Weeknd’s. Customer service was poor. We initially booked 9/5 to 9/7 but realized we needed to check in a day earlier. So, I contacted the hotel Monday 9/1 and asked if we can change our check in day to Thursday 9/4. I spoke to Michelle and she confirmed with me more than once that our reservation had been successfully changed to 9/4 through 9/7. I was even charged the additional fee for adding on the extra night. However, this was not the case. On Saturday 9/6 staff kept knocking on our door saying it was time to c
The room was clean and the area is nice. It is very close to Wash U. If you have late check out don't count on not getting bothered multiple times before regular checkout time reminding you of what time your check out time is. The only parking available when we got there was street parking and you have to get on an app starting at 8 am and pay every 2 hours after.
