Aloft Ocean City

I have been visiting Ocean City for more than 50 years. This was my first stay at Aloft. It is easily the nicest hotel I've stayed at in Ocean City and it is my new favorite. Aloft has everything I look for in a hotel, starting, of course, with value and location. The staff is friendly and efficient. (I have mobility issues and they were quick to help with luggage at check-in and check-out without me even having to ask for assistance.) The architecture and decor of the rooms and public spaces has the clean, modern scandinavian vibe I prefer. My room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, a terrace with a great view, and all the amenities I hope for, including WiFi, mini-fridge, safe, and ample bath linens. Great location and cool vibe. This is a pet friendly hotel, so I was worried about noise and odors in my room. I did not notice anything in those regards. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check in. Lobby was open and well decorated, reminded me of a more mainstream Moxy vibe. Room was clean but carpet was showing some age, but I'm here for the beach and a comfortable, clean place to stay, so no major fault here, but I hope it will be swapped out in the off-season. The parking situation is not perfect and you'll often be required to park a decent distance from the entrance in a far part of the lot. Again, this is a result of the beach location so I can't fault that too much. Overall, an enjoyable stay

Took the wife out of state for our 10 year anniversary. She was so excited to be staying at an Aloft again as we have in the past! We got into the room, my Flowers were there, which was great. We adjusted the AC to our comfort likings and 4 hours later after being at the beach, the temperature in the room was 78. Called the front desk, they said there isn't anything they could do. Maintenance checked the panel and all is fine but our room was above the indoor pool. The pool room was found to be 80+ degrees but no one agreed to trying to lower the temperature of the pool room. Instead they suggested we open the balcony door and give us a box fan. The outdoor temps were in the upper 80s low 90s. There was a hint of a breeze but when the box fan was dropped off, we came back from dinner and

I had my company party here over the weekend. It was such an amazing experience. Madelyn was incredibly professional, hospitable, and really made the planning of the event easy on me. Even when I had some changes, she was very easy to work with. She met me there and showed me around. My event coordinator Stacy was also amazing as was Scott the head of the bartenders. We had a happy hour at the tiki bar, and then the event in the ballroom. Everyone was incredible. And the sunsets were amazing as it is right on the bay. We rented 65 hotel rooms and the rooms were very cute, clean, and very comfortable. With great views all around. I highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to host an event.

I’ve stayed here twice and would go back. Pros: love the bay views. Easy access to the shuttle pick up to Seacrets and Hideaway. The Liquid Therapy bar service was great. Close to the beach (golf cart or walk about 5 minutes). Comfy bed. Cons: loud air conditioning with bright light (wear eye mask and earplugs). Bathroom barn doors. The outdoor pool is cold and crowded (especially when school is out).
