Alamo Inn

Older family owned motel that is attached to the also family owned Mexican restaurant Rizo’s, which in my opinion is the best Mexican restaurant in Alamogordo. It’s your basic motel, it’s a place for you to get some sleep. You get a bed, a microwave, a tv, and a small fridge. The bathroom did have a complementary bottle of shampoo and conditioner and small bar of soap (the usual hotel sizes). I rented two room and both were clean. We were able to get some good sleep because everything was quiet, no noisy or loud guests. The check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. I paid around $150 for 2 rooms for one night. If all you are looking for is a place to rest your head or just relax without spending all your gas money then this place is for you. Plus,

I wrote a review previously but noticed that there were cockroaches everywhere and old sock has been there i dont know how long brought it to the attention of owner wanted to kick me out with only half my money came at me with hostility daughter intervened and offered another me another room and front door does not close properly worst hotel ever should not be in business

We are a family of four traveling the US. With two small boys and a budget, our goal is to find the best deals without compromising cleanliness or comfort. The Alamo Inn was exactly that, GREAT WEEKLY RATE, CLEAN (housekeeping everyday, even with the weekly rental), FRIDGE, MICROWAVE, A/C, FRIENDLY/HELPFUL STAFF, and SAFE. This is not a luxury spot, but with the basics and the clean environment, it was a great decision.

Very clean rooms, nice staff a friendly environment. The owners of the hotel also have a Mexican resturant right next door! The food is better then the other restaurants I've tried in town. I would recomend this place to everyone.
