SureStay Plus by Best Western Alamogordo White Sands

My first and last time in this Motel! Everything is old and needs so much remodeling! Everything in a room is dirty, dusty, even restroom! Have so many cracks and broken stuff around. Bed was alright. Cleaning is horrible, have hair everywhere in a room and in shower!! No safety locks in a door! I was so scared to stay in this motel. My worst experience for 50 years to been around In all places! Only 2 things is good in this motel is warm, good breakfast 🍳, which start at 7 am! It’s way too late for customers who come in for work or trips! And another good in this motel is lady’s who cook breakfast and front desk receptionists, that all! For this money what them charge can be better! The parking lott look so ruff snd some ground is sinking,parking lots is very small and so tight to each

We stayed here on our way home to Arkansas from visiting in Arizona. We were pleasantly surprised! We had the king suite which is nice and spacious. Also very clean, which is important to us. We read there were coffeemakers in the rooms, but unfortunately we did not have one. I guess the suites don’t normally have one because they make fresh coffee in the lobby. We get up and on the road very early so they found us a coffeemaker and brought extra coffee for us to the room. Also, we noticed we did not have any wash cloths, and they brought us a nice stack of those also to the door. Very nice people. Next door there is a brand new Italian Restaurant we walked to and that was amazing! We definitely would stay here again!

We arrived early for check in. We were on motorcycles so sitting in the lob was better than riding in the hear, 100+F). The place was full the night before so the cleaning staff was running behind since almost all guests checked out this day and some late.|Plus we reserved two special rooms. Waiting was not a problem.|The ladies at the desk were pleasant. They even let us bring some beer into the lobby to drink while we waited, as long as we behaved. I hope this didn't get anyone in trouble. |The rooms were clean and large king rooms. The AC was on and set cold. Happy for that. Parking was good with a steak house next door. |The refrigerator was larger than most and it had a freezer. There were plenty of towels, and adequate 120v outlets.|All was very good.

Continental breakfast was good. Pretty basic stuff. Staff attending the breakfast were very nice. Booked a king room but was placed in a queen room. Rooms were not ready when we arrived after 3:30pm. Thank goodness for our booking company. They made things right. However, the hotel did nothing to make up for this error. Our room was pretty outdated. Fan in restroom coming apart, door jam broken, pretty bad condition. Did I mention 1 almost empty toilet paper roll. Wont come back here again.
