Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alamogordo by IHG

this hotel was wonderful. The room was super clean and I felt safe. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and so very nice. Nothing makes you feel good as much as a friendly smile and help when you are tired and have been traveling for 12 hrs. In a strange place a warm smile is comforting. She made our whole stay better just by her attitude and willingness to help.

We stayed here for five nights during our winter vacation and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always greeting us and making us feel welcome. Breakfast was included every morning, and we truly enjoyed the quality coffee. The location is excellent, with a Walmart and many restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. The pool and hot tub were popular, and our son had a great time and made fun memories. When I realized after checkout that I had lost my ring, the hotel staff quickly found it and arranged to have it shipped back to us, which we greatly appreciated. Because of the friendly staff, great location, and overall comfort, I highly recommend this hotel.

Both of the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. We booked a queen suite room which had two queen beds and in a side area, somewhat separated from the beds, a double sofa bed. The room was quite large and comfortable. The room itself was clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet contained a good choice of hot and cold items and there was enough seating. The hotel offers free sleds for White Sands and we borrowed three for the day. There are a few restaurants nearby with a couple within walking distance. It is about 10-15 minutes from the entrance to White Sands – among the closest hotels. I would stay here again.

We drove to Alamogordo from albuquerque for my father's funeral in Tularosa. We researched and found this place. 1. The night desk lady was nice, funny, prompt, and worked efficiently while being extremely busy with other customers. 2. The morning staff personal were kind and friendly. 3. The rooms were clean, spacious, beds comfortable, sheets are soft, 2 different pillows per person, water was warm/hot, AC worked amazing, single coffee keurig, plenty of plugs for all our electronics, small refrigerator w/ freezer, microwave, televisions, pullout couch ( didn't use,) desk w/chair, corner comfy chair, and good quality dove products. 4. Complimentary Breakfast was great. My kids loved the bacon and I like the muffin. 5. There are plenty of close places to get food, shop, and closet driv

A nice very clean, pet-free, well-located hotel! The SW view outside our window was picturesque too. I'd highly recommend it. An especially helpful person at the front desk was Shannon H. She was great at suggesting places to visit and the best restaurant to go to. She is professional, delightful and knowledgeable. I had to make some special requests and she handled it like a pro, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you Shannon H!
