I wish I could review staff vs cleaning. Staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and overall excellent. Breakfast was great, really an overall good place to stay. Unfortunately, my room was a bit of a mess. I found the toilet to be full of TP when I first arrived. Then long hairs in the shower. My remote for the TV was missing the batteries, and didn't work. BUT FRONT DESK EMPLOYEE WAS AWESOME!! VERY HELPFUL. KEEP HER. I also noticed that the electric cord to the heater/ac was damaged. Overall good staff and amenities. Poor cleaning.

Positive: The Breakfast at the restaurant next door is really good. Negative: Lack of attention to details in terms of maintenance. Missing knob on lamp made it unusable. Body wash dispenser mount upside down, fell into the tub. Hot Tub closed the morning I left, because they put way too much chemicals in it.

I booked the hotel for the pool because my group voted the pool the most important feature they wanted. When I arrived, the pool was functioning properly but closed. The front desk clerk informed me that the pool gets closed at 7 PM every night now. Posted hours state the pool is open until 10 PM. I believe in vendors that follow their own rules. Makes me wonder what other rules they don’t follow.

Definitely did not meet my standards in terms of service. While the room was clean and stocked, the service was below par. First, our shower handle was broken the night we got in and we couldn’t change the temperature of the water. I told the front desk about the problem and they said they would send maintenance first thing in the morning (maintenance never came). Second, housekeeping never came to take our dirty towels and stock with clean ones. Finally, on our last night, my key card wasn’t working and I went to the front desk to get new keys. After getting back to my room and getting to sleep (along with my wife and 2 kids), the front desk calls my room at 10:30pm to ask if I had booked another room. Woke me and my kids up. The location is good. Breakfast-lunch restaurant right next door, along with gas station and mini mart. Room was less than expected. Desk chair squeaked Horribly whenever you shifted your body at all. Microwave still had the unused cooking time left on screen from previous guest/s. It makes me question if it was checked or cleaned. Freezer in the fridge leaked water on to the top fridge shelf and my ice cream melted overnight. No blow dryer in room as advertised. 1st hotel I have ever run into this...of course it was the 1st time I made a decision to leave mine home and just use theirs.
