Positive: Staff Negative: Parking. Had to walk 3 blocks for parking. Could not leave car after checkout. Very inconvenient.
My husband surprised me with an overnight getaway at Agustin Inn, and overall we had a really sweet little escape. This isn’t just a simple star rating because a few different things definitely played into our experience. So here’s the honest breakdown. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – The Highlights • The location is absolutely amazing. You are right in town and everything is an easy walk. Huge win. • Free cookies (yes please). • Coffee station was appreciated. • The staff was kind and welcoming. • It’s a great place to rest your head after a full day exploring. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ – The “Good to Know” • If you’re not familiar with St. Augustine, the roads can be a little confusing. • Parking instructions could be clearer. The check-in parking is across the small street from the Inn in the second spot. But if someone i
This place was a huge disappointment and absolutely not worth the money. The room looked nothing like the photos, and the bathroom was especially bad—dirty, bare, and cheap, with no rugs or basic comforts. It honestly felt more like a rundown Motel 6 than a place charging these prices. We didn’t have hot water the first night, which is unacceptable. There were no individual AC or heat controls, so we couldn’t even make the room comfortable. Don’t expect modern amenities either—there are no USB ports except for two on an old, outdated bedside clock that looked like it came from a discount store. There was never any mention of breakfast or coffee, and none was offered. No water bottles in the room. On top of that, we had to park two blocks away, which was extremely inconvenient, especially
I honestly have no idea how this place has a 4.7 rating. This is truly one of the most misleading websites I have ever seen. “The rooms and facilities look nothing like the photos. The place is generally tired and rundown. They claim fresh baked goods daily, but all we saw was a jar with prepackaged cookies. Our room and bathroom have clearly not been updated in over 30 years. Ironically, there is a sign in the bathroom saying if you use one of the white towels to remove your makeup, instead of the black makeup towel, they will charge you $25. What is ridiculous about this is that the towels are dingy, scratchy and likely 20 years old. The only good thing about this inn is the location. Save your money and find somewhere else.
The room was very clean and provided a great space. The location of the hotel is tough to beat! And to have parking included is a lifesaver. Water, coffee, tea, and cookie stations on the first floor and third floor are a nice touch. There is a lot of noise from the restaurants nearby, but that would be the case anywhere on St. George.
