BOTTOM LINE: It's a motel w/ no on-site customer service and operated by a property management company. Set your expectations accordingly. I only leave positive reviews, but this one is the exception. Sam promised a 50% refund and that they would fix all of these issues for the next guest. Sam also requested that I don't make light of the situation should I choose to leave a review. So how did we arrive here? Well Sam ultimately backed out of the refund, citing that I notified them of these issues on the second and final night of my stay. This is true, but I arrived at 10PM on the first night of my stay and I skied all day the next. A lot of these problems compounded and presented themselves on the second day. Loved that it was contactless so easy. Rooms were clean and stocked. I recieved texts with my room info right at check in, 4 pm. As well as a notice about there being ice in their parking lot. It was indeed a lot of ice. And my friend is disabled so they were very nervous about the ramp, and we wished that at least the ramp had been extra salted. We only stayed for about 6 hours since we arrived super late at night and left super early in the am. We should have checked if there would be anywhere to park our trailer since we were stopping here as our halfway point to helping a friend move in WA. I cant fault the adventure lodge for my not checking on that. Or the weather, but an extra salting after dark perhaps? At least for the disabled ramp/parking space area.

It’s all about the location with this lodge. Pros: 1. Prime location, it’s at a walking distance from the Heavenly Village 2. Although the rooms are tiny, they seem to be newly Renovated. 3. The host was responsive and helpful. Cons: 1. Driveway wasn’t cleared resulting in injury 2. The rooms are tiny and overpriced ($250/night) 3. The shower area was small and the water pressure was horribly low as well making it difficult to warm up during cold winters.

Location was very convenient, everything was no more than 10 mins away. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Sam was a wonderful host, he responded within 5 mins every time we had questions. Would absolutely stay again! 10/10 recommend !!

My boyfriend and I came to Tahoe for a quick trip, knowing we would not spend much time in the room, we were happy to find a small and affordable location. The room was so cute and cozy! I would definitely stay here again.
