Acadia Inn

Positive: amazing staff, very clean, great selection of breakfast items, and nice touches like fresh flowers in the hallway windows. Spacious rooms beautifully decorated, Adirondack chairs and yard games in the back yard, walking trail that leads to Acadia Negative: Not one thing.

Really enjoyed staying here for four days on our Acadia vacation. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Especially nice was the afternoon charcuterie and cookies every day and the "make your own trail mix" station. These were lovely touches which made our stay even nicer. The hotel is in a great location and it and the surrounding property are super clean and nice. We loved it and would stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay at Acadia Inn. Our room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was bright and modern. The hotel location is perfect -- close to Acadia and close to downtown but also at the edge where it is quieter. Staff were very friendly. Hotel breakfast was wonderful and there was plenty of seating for all the guests. The bonus trail mix was a great surprise!

My wife and I started our tour across New England at the Acadia Inn. Great location is just the beginning of good things to say about this inn. Between Bar Harbor and Acadia and with shuttles to each. What a truly lovely place. The staff were all very kind and able to give information when needed. The place is very good at being eco-friendly. It is also updated with good amenities. The breakfast was very good and different every day. They also had several little “sides”: make your own trail mix, s’mores at the fire pit, access to Acadia trail. All were fun little extras. I highly recommend Acadia Inn.

So happy we found this hotel. Rooms were nice. Everything was very clean, and the little extra touches were very welcomed. The cookies, the make your own trailmix to take hiking, the hot apple cider, smores by the campfire....yum! The staff were friendly and the entire hotel was very welcoming. And as an added bonus, bus service is available to pick you up and take you into Bar Harbor and back, and the hotel is less than 2 miles from Acadia National Park entrance. We stayed 3 days, but would have enjoyed staying longer.
