A Victory Suites

This place is a wreck, please don’t stay there, the room, mattress and air unit stunk of cigarettes and mildew. My pillow and clothes came home smelling like cigarettes from the bed. Wallpaper peeling away from the walls and the hot tub was FILTHY and held together with duct tape but otherwise falling apart. There was some mystery hole in the floor, probably a burn from cigarette ash? The sheets had burn holes in it too, not the nice get away we were looking for.. The money they make clearly just goes into renovations to the lobby, because that’s the only nice part of the building. See pictures.

This hotel is under new management. I don't know if it was a detention centre or something else before, but it wasn't a hotel. I booked two rooms at this hotel through an online booking service (who should fire their sales agent in Detroit) - for a back-to-school cross-border shopping trip with my kids and my friend and her kids. The booking service listed this hotel as a 2.5 star, on par with Holiday Inn Express or others. I then read the reviews here and on other sites, and crossed my fingers. ||||The outside is freshly painted, and while it's in the south end of Warren (not near the Tech Centre), it's not a horrible area. This PLACE IS HORRIBLE … The BIG GUY IS RUDE AND DK HOW TO TREAT HIS GUEST DONT EVER SLEEP HERE . THE ROOM IT SELF LOOK LIKE RED ROOF MOTEL . THE HEATER DOESNT HEAT UP . THE DECOR IS TRASH . THIS MOHOTEL I WOULDNT RECOMMEND . THIS PLACE IS FOR PPL WHO SNEAKING AROUND ON THEY MATE .

First let me tell you they gave us the wrong room we were supposed to have a jet tub there was stain like water damage all throughout the ceiling there's holes in the walls the pillows are small the bed is uncomfy and then you can hear people doing grown up things and banging on walls at 3:00 in the morning

Found roaches during our stay. My son slipped in the driveway because the owner refuses to buy salt. The indoor pool advertised didn’t work the 3 weeks he HAD TO STAY due to our rental house being renovated. Water in the shower didn’t work and that was the second room we went to. Wallpaper hanging off the walls and mold and molding coming off the walls as well. The manager Jennifer argues and screams every night with at least one person. The night time desk clerk was in my face drunk asking I make amends with the manager. This place is an absolute mess from the owner to the employees. It’s a shame. My family lived there for 3 months years ago and it was a beautiful hotel. No smoking but the clerks smoke breeze at the desk while talking to you. They also break into rooms and steal from gues
