Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit/Warren

A group stay was setup for my family traveling for a funeral through Marne at the front desk and it was great. The location, amenities and service were all amazing. The rooms and lobby were clean and well kept. The breakfast was a good option especially as we headed out in the early morning. I highly recommend this hotel as it is also located near a lot of other great shopping and dining options.

The hotel was great. Check in was easy. The lobby was very nice. Breakfast was served everyday from 6a-10a. Coffee/tea 24 hours a day. A little snack/beverage area next to check in desk. There was laundry on site but did not use. The gym was nice and so was the pool. The room was great. We had two beds. We were there for a hockey tournament and everything was good! No complaints at all! Thank you for the nice stay.

Asked five times for room cleaning. Talked to manager twice. Three night stay no room cleaning. Supposed to be room cleaning every other day. Good luck with that. No towels. Lied to on multiple occasions.

The room was disgustingly filthy. Hairs all over the "clean" sheets. What looked like fecal matter on the toilet seat. What I'm hoping was chocolate smeared on the couch, but worried it wasn't. Luckily I had cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself. The bed was very hard. The bathroom floor was slanted in a way that the shower water did not go down the drain but went along the wall, out into the entryway and pooled in front of the closet and soaked some of the carpet. The room I was given was directly over the front entrance and across from the elevators. I have never experienced so much unnecessary noise in a hotel in my life. Once again, a Hilton who tries to save money at the expense of the customer. I will always take off one star for the water pressure and another for the motion sensor thermostat. If you want to take a nice hot shower with pressure, then this is not the hotel for you. The water merely trickles on you with their low flow shower head sprayers. They make every attempt to try and simulate high water pressure but I can assure you, you won’t be getting any. It’s as powerful as a flower water you use in your garden and that’s if the shower dial was directly in the middle of cold/hot. If you want your water hotter, then expect the pressure to get even lower. Secondly, if you’re okay with waking up in a sweat or freezing cold (depending on the season… Then this place is for you.
