We loved our stay and had a fantastic experience working with the sales and events team for our team retreat. The exhibits throughout the property are beautiful and made for such a unique, inspiring setting. The location is ideal for downtown St. Louis, walkable to great food and close to parks. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful. The restaurant and cafe were excellent, with great food and drinks. I’d recommend them even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Our team also loved the gym facilities and the pool. We will absolutely be back and will be recommending this property to others.

We paid for our room through the website and used the code “lovebug” for a package deal. When we arrived at the hotel they said we did not sign up for it and they refused to honor it. We could have gotten the same room for less through Expedia but booked through them directly for the deal. We even attempted to book by phone but were told we had to do it online and that it would be fine. It felt like we had just gotten scammed. We have stayed here several times and have had stays that were better than others but we have always come back for the good food, hot tub/pool area and the fun vibe. After the check-in debacle, there were a few other things that tempered our waning enthusiasm: When we got to our room the door was ajar. Second stay at this hotel and it was even better than the first. The woman working valet was delightful and she explained exactly how to request our car when we needed it. Front desk was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was cute and very clean. Went down to the bar for drinks and the bartender greeted us immediately. She was already making drinks for other guests so a second bartender swooped in and took our drink orders. He made us delicious drinks and eve chatted with us about classic cocktails. My boyfriend went downstairs for coffee the next morning and said the barista was the most impressive he had ever seen bc he was extremely fast and efficient with zero wasted movements (we both worked in the service industry it’s satisfying to watch someone who’s that good at t

This is a 4 star hotel with 3 star quirks, which means I give it 2 stars based on value. I came here with my partner for our anniversary night, coupled with an idol wolf reservation. While overall the experience was good, here’s all the little “3 star quirks” that were aggravating given the price of the room and dinner: - I know it’s winter but the common areas were all very cold including the restaurant. - The restaurant was overall a good time and enjoyable food but the presentation was lacking and sometimes a “head scratcher” when you factor in the $300 tab for two. - the room level hallways were poorly painted and showed wear. - our room was dusty and slightly messy, as if no one had cleaned it for a while. - our room had a large water stain in the ceiling. - our room had a lam

Perfect place for a staycation getaway! My husband and I stayed for a date night getaway. The temperature was 10° outside so it was excellent that everything we needed was right inside the hotel-dinner, drinks, coffee, and breakfast! What more could you ask for? The art museum is beautifully curated and made the experience so fun. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The vibe of the hotel felt like New York City without all of the traffic. The staff we interacted with were kind and helpful.
