The hostess was warm and nice although her English wasn’t well. Walk 10 minutes to 7 train and numerous Chinese cuisines along the way . The room was nostalgic but neat and cozy, most tenants were Asian. with this budget rate, nothing was far less than expected.
Very comfortable stay. Great location in Flushing near the 7 train. Felt safe the entire time. The owner lady is very friendly to us. She is flexible too as we were traveling with infant. Recommend!
Lai Lai is an excellent home -stay style hotel,It simply provides great value for the money. The hotel is literally 10 minutes away from the #7 subway station on foot. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.although room itself is relative old but very clean. Housekeeping also does a thorough job cleaning the room .The hotel is right In the downtown Flushing where you can sample enjoy all kinds of Chinese delicious.
May be you want to live there in summer, but you will never want to live there in winter, there's no air conditioner and he just DON'T open the heating installation! The whole room is freezing! And the size of the room is might be half of the picture he shows.
It is a fair walking distance to subway station, the service is ||"ok", but the price is really cool.
