Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel

The location is extremely convenient and you can even be able to find a restaurant still open at 3:00 midnight. The staff is friendly and always cares about me as a traveller.The cleaning lady, porter, and the shuttle driver are all great people and serve with passion. The best thing is I can bring in outside food and enjoy it at the lobby while waiting for my airport shuttle without a hassle. Great hotel, would definitely stay again and recommend friends.

Extremely disappointing stay from start to finish. Don’t waste your money and time in this hotel. It’s an absolute nightmare! On the first night, our toilet backed up with dirty water and flooded the bathroom floor despite not being used. It was completely unsanitary. We were moved to a downgraded room, and the staff handling the situation was arrogant and showed no empathy or meaningful apology. On the second night, there was persistent loud noise coming from a party on the 7th floor. Security briefly lowered the music for about 10 minutes, but it quickly resumed. When we tried to escalate, the front desk staff member, Isabelle, was dismissive and refused our request to speak with a manager. I stayed at the Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel for one night in December 2025, between arriving into New York City by train and departing by plane out of JFK. This hotel was chosen as a consequence of high pricing of hotels in Manhattan and near to JFK, along with the time of year, plus location to easy public transportation. ||I chose a twin room on the club level. Check in was easy, albeit we had a very early arrival so the room was not ready at the time which is completely understandable. I recently stayed at the Sheraton, and unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard I expect from a Marriott property. As a frequent traveler and loyal Marriott customer, I was very disappointed by the service and the lack of basic amenities at this location. Upon check-in, my card was charged $468.68 for incidentals without any explanation or prior notice. I had to call the hotel later to inquire about this charge, and they informed me it would be refunded later. This lack of transparency is concerning and sets a negative tone for the stay. On the second day, housekeeping had still not come to clean our room, and we ran out of towels (only three were initially provided). Great location just a two minute walk to the 7 train. I would give the hotel a 3.5 stars. The only microwave available, is behind closed doors in the bar/restaurant area. If you need something heated, you have to hand it over to an employee and tell them how long to set the microwave. Since the bar closes around 11pm, forget heating that midnight snack. Luckily, the hotel is in an area where there are restaurants open until 4:00 AM. The rooms are nice and spacious for NYC standards.
