Yowie was such a great find! If you’re looking to skip the big Center City hotels and stay somewhere with more neighborhood charm, this is the perfect spot. There are tons of great restaurants and bars nearby—and the rooms include spot-on recommendations if you’re unsure where to go. As a coffee lover, I especially appreciated the local coffee shop just around the corner—perfect for a quick pastry and breakfast in the morning. My room was clean, comfortable and had a cool vibe with unique, thoughtful touches. I was a little unsure at first about the “staff-less” setup, but it turned out to be super easy. Getting into the building and my room was seamless, and whenever I had a question, the staff was quick and helpful via text and phone. My only negative comment is that it got a little n

I absolutely loved my stay at Yowie! The room was clean, colorful, and stylish, with all the amenities I needed (and more), even a spacious kitchen, which was such a nice touch. It's a small, boutique gem that feels personal and thoughtfully designed, perfect for travelers who value character and comfort over big hotel chains.|The coffee shop downstairs has such a great vibe: cozy, creative, and perfect for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. Everyone there was so welcoming, and Molly, a local Philadelphian, went above and beyond to make me feel at home. It’s also a super convenient spot for work trips, and is a close walk to attractions like the Liberty Bell and Independence Visitor Center, and having a coin laundry just a few steps away was a big plus. I’d definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved my stay at Yowie Hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, and truly one of the most unique spaces I’ve ever stayed in. The decor was incredibly thoughtful — you can tell that every single piece was intentionally chosen. The creativity and attention to detail made the entire experience feel special and inspiring. I genuinely appreciated the care that went into designing the space. I would definitely stay here again!

This was not my first time in Philadelphia, but it was my first time staying at Yowie Hotel, and it definitely will not be my last. I will be booking this hotel again on my next visit. My trip was partly for work and partly for pleasure, and the room was perfect for both. On my workday, it was quiet and comfortable, with a great view of the street from my table that made working feel easy and relaxed. When it came time to explore, I loved how close the hotel was to all the major attractions, which made getting around simple and stress-free. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, such as the catalogue that showed where to buy some of the beautiful furniture and the drawer with extra toiletries for anything you might have forgotten. Overall, Yowie Hotel exceeded my expecta

I've stayed here twice now while in town from NYC, and it's a fantastic experience. Beautiful rooms with all the amenities you expect plus some thoughtful extras (e.g. tea, a drawer in the hallway with extra floss, tampons, etc). Super comfortable beds and really love being able to have coffee downstairs and do a little shopping in the morning. Great location central and walkable to many neighborhoods. The staff recommendations are on point, too. For anyone concerned about a non-traditional hotel experience, I encourage you to give this a try. It couldn't be easier.
