The Dwight D Hotel

I highly recommend The Dwight D! I stayed this weekend in the suite on 1st floor. Very nicely decorated and old school classic furniture hardwood little creaky floors in a good way (pro tip bring cushy flips). Excellent complementaries and quality of toiletries. Spacious split room two TVs huge bed great linens good firmness waterfall shower huge tub easy and effective HVAC. Location top. I was two blocks from Kimmel and hugely enhance my already euphoric mood as this was a special occasion in life world class solo violinist one of the greatest musicians known to me with the Philadelphia Orchestra three days in a row. My husband and I spent three nights at the Dwight D upon recommendation from our nephew, a lifelong local. The boutique hotel is a real treat with beautiful architecture and design! It is so well-appointed with lovely touches like Tea Forte, L'Occitane amenities, maps, bottled still water, Nespresso, beautiful bedding and robes. The owners are extremely helpful and have two darling dogs that come and go. The location is superb with great restaurants and shopping all around. We would be happy to return on our next visit!

We stayed at the Dwight From December 28-Jan 3 after having a very hectic Christmas week . We selected the Dwight D for its walkable and central location as well as for its boutique style accommodations. The hotel is ran by husband and wife team Vittoria and Ken. They are as charming as their hotel. The room was spacious, well appointed and we particularly enjoyed the living room with 24 hr tea service. Vittoria helped us curate a list of restaurants and we got to sample world cuisine from Thai to Mexican, Lebanese, Italian, first rate Pizza and superb steak house. Their negotiated rate w the nearby parking garage was unbeatable. Throughout our stay the hotel was very quiet and we slept in almost every day. Truly wonderful experience at The Dwight D. The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere that feels like you're in a home - there is an inviting lounge area downstairs (with some amazing tea that I could not stop drinking), a lovely outdoor garden, and a general cozy feeling from it being a boutique hotel. We adored our room with its glorious bathtub, and the overnight oats on the breakfast menu ....the best I've ever had. The location is excellent as well, a short walking distance from soooo many great places. However, I would be remiss if I did not write about Vittoria and Ken and how they ARE the experience of this hotel. Fantastic experience. Owners greeted us, saved a parking spot for us in front of the hotel as we were arriving. A great charcuterie board was in our room when got there.||Location was ideal for our night out.||The hotel is beautiful with incredible character due to the age. It's clear great care was taken to preserve the wood work and features of the home. It was raining so we didn't get to utilize the garden...next time!||Thanks for the hospitality!
