Wyricks Hillside Lodges

This is our second time staying at Pleasant Valley cabin and it won't be our last! I love how close to town it is making it so easy to stop in for a coffee or a meal...but sits far back off the road that the wildlife is abundant and active. The cabin itself is so cozy, the bed and bedding is very comfortable and it has all the things we need for a nice getaway.

We rented the Red Creek Mini Lodge for 3 nights. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended. Check in, with the key in a lock box, was effortless. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed, including pots and pans, utensils, blender (we didn't use that), toaster, coffee maker. The hot tub was great! We were 4 adults and had plenty of space. We had one small issue with one of the toilets and the owners came to help really quickly, even though it was 7 pm on a Saturday night. We didn't use the home theater room, but that is a cool feature if you're interested in that. The stairs are pretty steep, and you have to use them to get to the main level of the house from the driveway. This is our 2nd time using Wyricks Lodging, we chose them for our second stay because the cabins come with everything you need and are always clean. The owners leave small touches that help make your stay easier like dishes, silverware, detergent, extra toilet paper, plenty of towels, coupons for things to do while staying in Logan and many more. The houses provide privacy and have great scenery. We will use Wyricks every time we stay in Hocking Hills! We stayed at the Hidden Gem our first trip when we were alone and brought our kids with us the second trip and stayed at Red Creek Mini Lodge. Both were amazing in there own ways! The beds are a little uncomfortable but if you bring and extra blanket and pillow from home for each person it's not a problem.

The Sandstone cabin is beautiful. It is in a very private location. We rented it for a girl’s hiking trip. All you need to bring is your food.

We stayed in the Hillside Lodge - the pictures don't do it justice! It is spacious, beautiful, and so comfortable! Our daughters loved the loft and bunk bedroom - the beds throughout were very comfortable, as were all the furnishings. The place was super clean, and nicely decorated. We did a lot of cooking and baking; the kitchen had pretty much everything we could have wanted. The hot tub was very clean and so nice on a dark cold night! We brought our own firewood and really enjoyed the fireplace. The house is well off the road, very quiet and private, yet a mile from a Dollar General and Save A Lot grocery store, in case you forget something. We will definitely be back!
