The Acres

We used this property for an extended family trip with our daughters, their husbands, and our 5 grandchildren ages 11, 9, 6, 6, and 5. First Hocking Hills State Park is extraordinary with well-marked trails and amazing rock formations. The kids did well on all the trails. This property is very updated and has 3-4 amazing outdoor gathering spaces - a fire pit with enough Adirondack’s to accommodate all of us, a nice porch with the real wood-burning fireplace, an upper deck, and the hot tub area. Actually, we thought the outdoor shower was a bit frivolous but ended up loving it for easy showers after being in the hot tub … had warm water and shampoo, etc. We spend a lot of time throwing footballs etc in the back yard. The most beautiful magical place you could hope to stay. Wonderful hosts, amazing design, and gorgeous setting. Get yourself booked in to stay as it’s not going to be long before their calendar is perpetually full.

This cabin is incredible - one of the best we have stayed in for our annual trip in Hocking Hills! The finishes are very high end and the views can’t be beat. Our group had the best time having a fire on the covered porch and sitting in the hot tub. It was a short drive to the caves and the winery. We would recommend The Acres to anyone and we are already looking at dates to reserve this fall.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Fully stocked with everything you would need! And the steam shower was amazing!!!

STUNNING! Fully furnished! Has everything you need for the best relaxing vacation! So clean. The furnishings are just beautiful! The showers are so nice and clean!
