Saving Hollow

Melinda was such a great host, and the cabin was a real gem! We absolutely loved our time. We arrived to a hand written note, and several personal touches. The cabin was cozy and inviting, well appointed, tastefully designed, and full of little delightful touches that really enhanced the experience! There were several different kinds of lights, and we were able to turn on just the right lights and dim them at perfect levels for a romantic evening. Everything was spotless, and the amenities were perfect, from the dedicated outdoor blankets, to the matching robes, and the coffee station and kitchen accessories. There were several little useful items in the pantry, like a box of ziploc bags and a few left-over containers, a bottle of olive oil, and a first aid kit. We had everything we needed

Our romantic weekend at this beautiful little cabin was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt wrapped in warmth and coziness. The cabin is super clean, inviting, homey, and incredibly romantic — every single detail thoughtfully designed to make you feel relaxed and connected. Melinda & Dave are truly the most gracious hosts. You can tell they’ve thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need. Their helpful guidebook explained everything clearly — from how to use the hot tub to the dishwasher — which made settling in effortless and stress-free. Walking inside, we were greeted by the sweetest little touches that made the stay extra special: fresh roses on the table, a Polaroid camera for capturing fun memories together, and the softest sheets and blankets

Such a cute, cozy and quiet place. We really enjoyed our weekend stay! Melinda was so accommodating. We would love to come back sometime.

The Grove was a magical experience. Every detail was meticulously designed to feel extremely comfortable and luxurious. Many vacation rentals claim to feel private, but from every aspect of the architecture and landscaping it truly felt like a secluded getaway amongst the trees. Melinda was very responsive and handled every detail with care and courtesy. It was just what we needed to reset before the holiday season. Highly recommend this gem. We will absolutely be back.

One word, perfection…. Amazing host, phenomenal location and amenities galore…the most fantastic way to celebrate a birthday and the beginning of the new year!! It snowed while we were there and they had it removed for our safety, communication was excellent, truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely book this location again in the future!!
