Whistlestop Bed and Breakfast

Our experience and stay at Whistlestop was amazing. The tranquil setting, gorgeous home and all the things you could want were provided by Sherry and Mike. The place was extremely clean. The kitchen was so well stocked including fresh baked goods, coffee, tea, water, drinks, and more! The bed and linens were comfortable (I slept 8hr40min the second night!) as a mom of two young boys on a getaway with my husband that's SO appreciated! I loved the little touches like a robe available, a cozy throw blanket for chilly mornings and the candle warmer on when we arrived. The fall decor in the home made it so warm and welcoming, I truly felt a sense of calm and peace when we were visiting. We will 100% recommend this place to our family and friends!

What a wonderful place to stay when you need to get away just the two of you. My husband booked the private suite at The Whistlestop B&B in Hocking Hills and what a beautifully decorated and spacious room we had. We loved the super comfy bed, and a cozy fireplace with such a warm decor. They have thought of most everything you will need during your stay from continental breakfast items to fresh cookies, coffee, soda, juice and waters. Couldn't have had a better time! What a wonderful place to stay. It's so peaceful and quiet. My husband and I said we really didn't care if we ever left the front porch it was so relaxing. Mike, Sherry and of course Lucy were the best hosts. The room was very clean and breakfast items well stocked. We never used the hot tub but it is there to use. B & B is close to all the hiking trails and the Hocking River. We would definitely recommend the Whistlestop. We hope to make it back next year for our 41st anniversary. We have never stayed at such an accommodating place. We really enjoyed our 4 days there.

This was our second stay at Whistlestop and it is just the perfect getaway! Just about 20 minutes away from the beautiful Hocking Hills hikes, but you'll barely want to leave, since everything you need is provided for you in this cozy suite! We went winter hiking at Cedar Falls and Ash Cave, and were delighted to thaw and relax in the hot tub when we got back. We will 100% be back the next time we need a little getaway - thank you so much for a truly relaxing and refreshing weekend!

My husband and I love staying at the Whistlestop! No trip to the area would be complete without staying here. It's super close to all the parks and activities and secluded enough to feel like a private oasis. Mike and Sherry go out of their way to make you feel welcome, Lucy too! Sherry has homemade baked goods waiting when you get there and decorates the room beautifully. She thinks of everything! Can't wait to come back. Jen Thomas
