Wyndham Garden Newark/Fremont Silicon Valley

I stayed here for the weekend a couple of weeks ago. The staff was nice, and they upgraded my room for a suite. It was worth it. The room was very spacious, and the only bad thing is that one of the TVs in front of the bed, did not work. You could hear but no image, which was a bummer if you wanted to watch it there, but you have another one in the tiny living room. Great service, the breakfast is not the best; ens at 9am and by then, everything is gone. Swimming pool, and gym were great. The latter was missing wipes to clean the equipment or machines. laundry room small but pretty decent. The other big bummer is the store inside, right in front of the front desk. They have just… beverages, nothing else. Pretty good location, definitely will come back here.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining spotless rooms made a huge difference during our stay. Everything was always perfectly clean, organized, and comfortable, which made us feel truly at home. I would also like to recognize the entire Front Desk staff, who consistently provided outstanding customer service. I stayed at this hotel and was charged a $50 deposit, which has not been returned. I contacted the hotel multiple times, but they did not take responsibility and failed to provide a clear or proper explanation. I also checked with my bank, and they confirmed that no refund has been received from the hotel. Due to this unresolved issue and lack of accountability, I would not recommend staying at this property. I hope management improves their customer service and handles deposit refunds more transparently in the future.

Everything is great, except the room doesn’t include a mini fridge so don’t expect to keep any leftovers or groceries during your stay & also don’t expect to use the pool either because it’s very dirty. I wish I would’ve taken a picture but when I went down to check the pool out I left my phone in the room. I know it’s not in season for a pool but at check in I was told the pool was open, so when I heard that I was expecting to maybe dip my feet in while I read for a bit as it was actually a little warm early January but nope, the pool was so nasty looking it almost looked abandoned. Why even mention the pool is open amenity if it actually isn’t? They do have decent breakfast though!

Positive: It was quiet. Room was clean Negative: Toilet seat too low. Knob to control refrigerator temp was broken and froze all my drinks. I was charged an additional 51 dollars and don?t know why.
