E-Z 8 Motel Newark/Fremont

No. Rented a stay with them, had an issue with a debit card charge for a hold. Be careful using your debit/credit card because if they put a hold, they are not responsive in assisting you. It was last Friday that I made a request to release the hold and it is now Tuesday, I called everyday, and the response was always "I'm busy I haven't sent the release letter to your debitor." I'm nearly 30 years old, this is my first time writing a negative review. If you like a couple hundred dollars held from you if not more for 30 days then... I get it you want LOWERED RATES, but nobody can afford that jeopardy and that time.

This was literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There were cockroaches, the floor was dirty, there was even a hole in the blanket. The worst of all was the smell, even though it said no smoking, the scent of cigarettes was unbelievably strong. The pillows were small and very solid, lead to a bad night of sleep. The bathrooms were dirty, with towels that smelled and looked as if it washed after the previous customer. The water in the shower did not run as well. Yes, it was really cheap which probably makes sense. It is not horrible if you’re just looking for a super cheap place for a night but recommended to avoid at all costs.

This place is cheap for a very good reason. It's rundown, outdated, and not maintained very well, if at all. The room (I was in) was horribly dirty and had a strong nasty cigarette smell (even though it was a non smoking room). It was very clear that the housekeepers do the bare minimum when it comes to making sure the rooms are clean for the next guest. I could go into detail about some of the nasty things I found in my room, but trust me, you don't want to know. || There were a lot of rowdy, loud and very sketchy folks staying in the motel that night, which made me quite worried about the safety of my vehicle, so once I had checked in, I moved it to where I could watch it closely from my room. I even woke up a few times to check on it that night, thinking it was bound to be broken into

Worst hotel ever stayed at. MANY Cockroaches + Crazy manager who barged into the room when I didn’t even have clothes on, even when door was locked, after I was trying to say we are leaving but him being aggressive was making me scared to come out. They harass you if you don’t check out way before the checkout time. Then threatened to call cops on us and kept trying to break open the door. Insane establishment, and others staying there said they were aggressively shoved out as well as they walked out to their car mad too. Also heat doesn’t work at all and terrible smell + people screaming in rooms. Very sketchy place , even for a cheap hotel this was next level bad
