I had a great time at the hotel. I loved the room. It was clean, well put together, shower and bathroom was great! Me and my new wife had a great time and loved the hospitality from one of workers in the front. The worker name was Nic, he’s a great employee and helped with many things around the hotel.

Positive: The location Negative: It was still very hot in New Orleans during our stay. Our a/c was off when we entered the room. It was very hot in there. The bathroom had a sewer smell and the a/c vent in there did not work. The bathroom was always hot

Do not recommend! Noise! Noise! Noise! And no continental breakfast! I absolutely agree with others that staff is friendly, the lobby is cute, and the location is great but I would not recommend staying here. First, they lied about breakfast. They do have a cafe but it is a separate private coffee shop that sells coffee and pastries. It has nothing to do with a free continental breakfast. Second, rooms do not have microwaves!!! You can’t even make your own breakfast! And third, and the most annoying is noise. You can’t even hear everything happening outside even on the 5th floor. You can’t also hear people in other room. But the worst thing is at around 6 am a buzzing noise woke me up, as if someone was talking a shower and the pipes were “screaming” or maybe staff were vacuuming other roo

My family and I had 3 rooms for Mardi Gras (2/4-2/10). I'm going to start with the positives. The hotel is beautiful! The location is great in relation to Canal St and Bourbon St (only about 1.5 blocks away from Canal St). There is a small coffee shop in the lobby. There is also an Indian restaurant attached as well. There are numerous good restaurants nearby. There is a corner store only 1 block away along with a CVS & Walgreens a few blocks away as well. Making the reservations was effortless. We were traveling with a family member that required the use of a rental scooter. Unfortunately, my stay left a very negative impression. There is a very unpleasant smell throughout the entire hotel. The elevator smells strongly of paint, and on some floors there is a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, which is completely unacceptable. The floors are dirty everywhere — in the lobby, in the rooms, and in the hallways. The carpets also look neglected and clearly have not been properly cleaned. The hotel is quite old overall. You can see attempts to refresh or update it, but these are only superficial. What is really needed is a deep renovation, not just cosmetic fixes. The public restroom on the first floor is an absolute disaster — extremely dirty and foul-smelling. Using it is very unpleasant.
