Canal Street Inn

My wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the inn and stayed the weekend with our wedding party and family. It was a perfect weekend. The entire inn was beautiful, the breakfast each day was delicious, and we truly couldn't be happier with how the inn played into our celebration. The all-in-one wedding package made planning our wedding easy and as stress-free as weddings can be. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We stayed here again for our third visit from Atlanta four days starting Nov 16, 45th anniversary! Without a doubt the best B&B in N.O. Easy process, and first rate service. Very responsive to calls and emails. Our Prytania King Suite was a spacious unit with so much charm. With 15-feet high ceilings, period woodwork, flooring and a fireplace, we were transported back in time. The king-sized bed was comfy and the modern bathroom was fitted with two sinks and a glass enclosed shower. Only downfall for some is the steps, even if in a room on main floor, quite a few to enter. But it’s a great place. Hot tub in rear, rarely used, but I do! Easy access to a the FQ via the quintessential trolly right in front of the Inn, or Uber/Lyft $10-$15 depending where you go. We reserved the entire house for us and our guests during our destination wedding. The house was gorgeous, with its original charm still intact. The space in the garden area was perfect. It was all beautiful and well taken care of, not to mention very versatile as there was multiple ways to do the wedding ceremony. Monica was very helpful and there at all hours helping us with everything we needed. Dee delivered us the most delicious breakfast every morning and again was helpful and there at all hours of the day well out of business hours helping us with what we needed and making sure everything in the house was in perfect condition 24/7. The house was also very secure, with all doors locked at ALL times. We felt very safe and secure there.

I had my wedding at this amazing venue! It was the perfect place to bring my fairy tale wedding to life! Everyone kept raving about how beautiful their rooms were and how friendly everyone there was. My friends and family from out of town LOVED their rooms! The staff was exceptional and the garden is just gorgeous 😍. I cannot say enough nice things about Monica and Dee.

We did a whole house rental for my family for my wedding and it was spectacular! Canal Street Inn provided top service and hospitality to all of my family who traveled out of the country to join us for the wedding. The breakfast they serve daily was delicious. The inn is extremely comfortable and all of my guests enjoyed being able to cross the street for the street car! This place will always hold such a special place in my heart.
