The Hotel Pompadour

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Pompadour. We were surprised with an upgrade to an incredible room with a balcony, a clawfoot tub, and huge James Michalopolos paintings, which honestly made my art-loving heart so happy. The room was super comfortable (the bed especially), with really nice bath products and thoughtful touches throughout. The whole hotel feels like you’re staying inside a beautiful gallery. The location is perfect, easy walk to Frenchmen Street and the neighborhood felt very safe. Communication was seamless and self check-in was simple. It was the perfect little retreat when we needed to recharge between all the fun in NOLA. We’ll absolutely be back.

Absolutely stunning room me and my wife stayed in! Big enough for my entire family of 5 but we loved the space! Host was wonderful, location was super close to Frenchmen, bed was super comfy, all rooms had the most beautiful art and design in them. Website showed what you will actually get in person! When ever we revisit New Orleans we definitely will be staying with Hotel Pompadour. Super cool experience.

If I could rate The Hotel Pompadour any higher I absolutely would. The staff were all beyond incredible and so kind it’s almost unbelievable. We were incredibly grateful for their responsiveness and flexibility, especially when our flight got delayed a few days, and they worked with us to make sure we could extend our stay. Truly all salt of the earth. Outside of that, the room we stayed in was beautiful, with so many gorgeous paintings from the owner. Have zero complaints, got exactly what was promoted on their website. Location wise, we found it to be the best of both worlds! Could get over to Frenchman st and the French Quarter in 5 minutes or less, but also allowed us to be away from the crowds in a moment as well. This hidden gem in New Orleans is not just a place to stay; it is a destination in itself, filled with soul, character, and breathtaking beauty. From the very first conversation I had with the staff regarding my plans to propose here, they were absolute angels. They went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating at every single step, ensuring that every detail was perfect. Their kindness and professionalism turned a nerve-wracking moment into a seamless, joyous experience. And the facility? It is simply stunning. The hotel is filled with the most incredible, larger-than-life artwork by James Michalopoulos. Hotel Pompadour is a charming boutique hotel filled with beautiful, vintage furniture, books, and art by local artist Michalopoulos. Pictures of the hotel speak for themselves! The hotel is situated walking distance to Frenchman street and the French Quarter, as well as just a few minutes from Ayu Bakehouse and Loretta’s. Avery was very helpful during our entire stay and helped us with little blips. There is an option for paid parking but street parking was easy to find around the hotel. There was also a communal kitchen with coffee, teas, and a fridge! Loved the charming Nola Hotel Pompadour and would definitely recommend and come back :)
