Wrigley Hostel - Chicago

Staff is lazy and doesn’t care bout residents or their safety. They allow drugs “weed” n the house even tho it’s legal many ppl don’t smoke or like the smell and the staff doesn’t care that other residents may be in sobriety. They leave at 8pm and don’t return til 10 the next day so if you need anything your just out of luck. People are loud. No heat n the living room . Game room. They charge 10 DOLLARS TO WASH ONE LOAD OF LAUNDRY! They constantly threaten to fine you and change your card for every little thing. They never mop. My socks were black on the bottom after walking around in them. You get woke up non stop! Just overall a HORRIBLE PLACE . Don’t waste your money. Reporting to the state for another things I cannot mention just incase they see this as I don’t want them to have time

We stayed 2 nights to go to a Cubs game. Location was so amazing. So close to the field. The rooms and common areas were clean well stocked with amenities provided. The price was unbeatable. All the other guest were politie and friendly. Will be staying there again when I come back for another game.

Positive: Nothing. Negative: Everything is Broken, Such as Micro-Wave, Hot water, Bed, Heater(Noisy like 18 century heater) Chairs and also They have never ever vacuum the floor. Very small roomThey put 8 guests inside. It's Family style. Don't go All Sucks.

To be fair I thought I was booking a hotel not a hostel. Room was non refundable so we went with it. Some rooms were communal bunk beds - we had booked a private queen bed room. Still had shared bathroom, shower, kitchen, and communal spaces. The bed was comfortable but the room was so hot. And it was a very noisy place. Pipe noises and house noises were very loud. Street noise was to be expected and old building so you could hear everyone walking around and shutting doors all night. There is a pool table, shuffle board table, dartboard, computers, tv, couches, tables, and kitchen you can use. The bathrooms were clean and showers were clean but you had to bring your own toiletries. Overall if you are used to hostel travel and dont mind shared space with strangers it’s ok- but I found it v

They will have the entire hostel fake snore and stomp on the floor for no reason. Don't stay here they will abuse you so you can't sleep then throw you in the streets half way through the stay. Hostelworld won't allow for a negative review. You had 5 different people fake snore for 5+ days while I was here. With at least 2 participants in late night early morning elephant parades. Your hostel is being extremly abusive towards high value people. I was unable to sleep for 3 days straight due to your fake snoring abuse while I had very important projects to work on. You're hostel is intentionally abusing high value people. Hostelworld raised prices by $10 to $15 per night for every hostel after this, and made it extremely expensive to stay anywhere.
