Villa D' Citta Bed & Breakfast

This Texas Trio ventured to Chicago in Late February. What were we thinking? Luckily, I stumbled upon this Total Gem in the Heart of Lincoln Park in my search for Chicago hotels or boutiques "with character". The prime location affords super easy walking distance or a short ride to so many attractions. The Help yourself stocked kitchen and absolutely devine breakfast options were simply magnificent. The aesthetically pleasing decor is not only breathtaking, but made the place feel warm and inviting. The welcome video was not only helpful, but an incredible extra bonus feature which provided a visual tour of the entire location, your selected room(s), and detailed every nuisance of how to access or work any door, appliance, elevator, fire pit, fireplace, the hot tub, etc. Don and Gina were

5⭐️ |Such an amazing villa in the heart of Lincoln Park! The hospitality was so genuine and we felt so welcome from Day 1-5. We could walk to every restaurant, shop and cafes - great value! ||The food prepared every morning was so authentic and delicious! True Italian cuisine like a fine restaurant including the atmosphere. The refrigerator and freezer are stocked with juices, sandwich items, jams, delicious breads and meats. ||Having coffee prepared for me at 6 am was also a pleasure! The cannolis ready to stuff to our personal preference was a delight along with the chilled Italian Ices - all for the taking. Villa D’ Citta – Lincoln Park, Chicago If you’re looking for a charming bed and breakfast near DePaul University, Villa D’ Citta is an excellent choice. The breakfast was outstanding—I enjoyed bacon with a veggie egg scramble and a ham-and-cheese egg tortilla wrap. They also serve homemade banana bread, and the kitchen is fully stocked so you can make your own sandwiches, grab fresh fruit, fill a cannoli, or indulge in Italian ice cream (I loved the lemon and watermelon flavors!). The location is perfect—an easy walk to DePaul and surrounded by cute shopping and dining streets. It’s also convenient to the Red, Brown, and Purple CTA lines for getting around the city. We love this bed and breakfast. The owners are so helpful and everyone is very nice. The townhouse is very clean and the location is perfect for the old town, wriggleville, Lincoln park, Gold Coast areas. And don’t forget the delicious home cooked breakfast. Delicious… especially Gina’s delicious banana bread.

This absolutely was the most incredible place I have ever stayed in Chicago, and if I have the opportunity I don't know if I'll ever stay anywhere else again. We stayed in two different rooms while we were here, Capone's Cantina and the Venetian Suite, and the Capone room was absolutely our favorite. We love anything that sees a theme and works to completely immerse you in it, and this did so with aplomb. All the homemade breakfasts were delicious, and between the welcome sangria that came from the wall and the build-your-own cannoli station, to even just having an opportunity to chat with the staff and to see how much they care about this place, I cannot wait until I have the opportunity to visit again.
