WoodSpring Suites San Antonio Fort Sam

Positive: Nothing all bad Negative: Advised the manager that there was roaches not only on the room but the refrigerator too and they did nothing about it

On June 27th, 2025, we checked in at your San Antonio Fort Sam location. After dropping off our bags, we visited our son at the base. Upon returning, we discovered roaches in our room, including one crawling on the sink and another on my wife. We reported the issue to the front desk staff, who informed us that we were disturbing her rest. She advised us to submit a formal complaint and contact the manager on Monday. Due to the unacceptable conditions, we were forced to relocate to another hotel to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. I emailed this as well to there website, and it came back as a user error.

⭐ One Star – Do NOT Stay Here Our experience at WoodSpring Suites San Antonio was absolutely terrible. When we first arrived, our room was dirty, clearly not cleaned properly, and we were forced to change rooms twice because of the conditions. The entire place smells strongly of cigarettes and marijuana, including inside the rooms. There were cockroaches on the floor, which is completely unacceptable and disgusting for any hotel, especially one that claims to be suitable for extended stays. The service was awful — staff were unhelpful and rude when we brought up concerns. Instead of fixing the problems, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. The people staying here were also sketchy, and the overall atmosphere felt unsafe and uncomfortable. This place looks and feels very sketchy,

Checked in on a Friday evening & stayed almost a week. They were very accommodating when I had to add two extra days & price matched. The manager and housekeeper were top-notch. Maria went over beyond to make sure that our five days days went well. It was nice to be greeted by the manager, and having him follow up with me each day that he could to make sure that we were accommodated, and the staff was performing at its highest. They make their guests feel like they are staying in a five star hotel, giving exceptional service. The front desk staff was outstanding always greeted me by my name and my furry child. Affordable place to bring your pets they have Designated dog area. Location is great & many fast food. Try the mini taco house behind the hotel. Overall, was a wonderful stay especia

If you are a woman traveling alone, beware of this place the manager the manager himself that has an office at the front desk he says is his office…. He’s very mean very rude. He also tried to keep my packages in mail and he in fact did keep a debit card that was sent to that address.. There are roaches everywhere, hallway, elevator in room everywhere. He also tacked on linen fees, as well as missing item fees on my final bill and in the 30 days that I stayed there, I did not receive any clean linens. I had my own linens and washed and clean them myself there are no missing items. I am currently in contact with corporate over these issues. I am also due a refund per corporate However, the manager at that place will not release them and he’s the man that you have to check in with so good lu
