Inn on the Riverwalk

We recently hosted a leadership summit at Inn on the Riverwalk, and the experience was truly wonderful. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff is incredibly pleasant to work with, and you can genuinely tell their heart’s desire is to make your stay the best possible. We especially enjoyed visiting with the owner each morning at breakfast. He took time to personally check in and make sure everyone was pleased, which added such a thoughtful and personal touch to our stay. The location could not have been better. It was so easy to walk everywhere — including the River Walk and even the local H-E-B grocery store. That convenience made coordinating our group effortless. I spent two nights at the Inn on the Riverwalk, and it was amazing. The location is excellent; the rooms are clean, charming and old-fashioned. Breakfasts in the mornings are tasty. I had the pleasure of speaking with Roland, the owner who is genuinely concerned about great customer experience and taking care of his people. Overall, a great experience!

What a great experience! Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, location is right next to the river which is peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was great! The owner and his cute puppy Charlie came out and visited while we were out on the patio at breakfast! Would definitely come back again!

This is a nice Inn in a good location just a short walk from the Riverwalk. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is good. The Inn is typically run by just one person each from morning until mid to late afternoon. Not the same person each day. The owner of the establishment will stop in many mornings and shake hands with guests at breakfast and engage in friendly conversation. We stayed in the yellow rose suite on the top floor (the only room on that floor). The view is good from the patio. The room is equipped well enough. Cable package was better than I expected. A pretty solid value overall compared to hotels right on the Riverwalk. Would be a good place to rent out several rooms to have the place essentially to yourself. I would go back.

Wonderful B&B! Honestly speaking, I am more a luxury hotel kind of guy, but I must say I was stunned by the Inn on the Riverwalk! Owners are really nice and know what hospitality means. The room was nice and the house very charming. Oh, and the breakfast was succulent! The location is also very convenient, very close to the downtown area, Fort Alamo and the fantastic San Antonio Riverwalk.
