Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Villas

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio on New Year’s Eve, and the customer service truly stood out. Jonathan, our valet, was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond, especially helping me with my 6- and 3-year-old, which made a huge difference for our family. His kindness, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. Thomas, who helped carry our luggage, was also wonderful—very careful, attentive, and courteous. Overall, our stay was exceptional. The resort is fantastic for families and kids, and everything exceeded our expectations. They even decorated our room for my husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. We have been staying at this property since my kids were young, and now I got to take my grand-daughter for a long weekend and a visit to Sea World and to some of my favourite art galleries in TX. The property was always wonderful, and it's even improved! The rooms have been recently freshened up and still maintain the Texas-style decor. Beds were super comfy and quiet, and our patio view was gorgeous. The grounds are still amazing with the mature, native plants and gorgeous, natural landscaping and lighting. The paths are wonderful. The pool is ZEN and we had it all to ourselves since it was pretty chilly at night! The hot tub was fun and the lazy river was amazing!!! We were treated well (as always) by the lovely staff. Gael was particularly helpful in getting my g-daughter and me settle

I cannot say enough about our weekend at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. My son asked to bring two friends to Sea World for his 11th birthday. I chose this resort due to the proximity to the park and the heated pools. My expectations were completely surpassed! The staff went out of their way to make sure my son had an amazing birthday experience and treated him and his friends like VIPs. We were so impressed with how thoughtful and kind they were. Thanks to them, the kids had even more fun at the resort than they did at Sea World.||||The resort is just lovely. The lobby and rooms are so well done. It feels high end but also warm and comfortable. The scent in the lobby is heavenly! My only complaint is that they don’t sell it. The holiday decorations are beautiful. The pool is chilly in Dece

Positive: Amenities and all of the staff were on point and friendly Negative: Our room had a slow water leak that engineers and staff could not figure out. Housekeeping just kept bringing towels for us to walk on and soak up the water. They couldn’t figure out the problem and brought fans in there to try and dry.….

We loved our stay. The room was beautiful which made for a relaxing Staycation for our family. Everything is approachable and easy for a family with young kids. Ms. Courtney made the paid crafts and family fun room one of my kids favorite things. I’d go back just to chat with her! Boston was amazing wave instructor. My five year old did it two days in a row and loved it.
