WoodSpring Suites Sumter is what happens when a hotel is designed entirely by accountants. While the building is new and the rooms are clean, don’t mistake this for comfort. This is not a hotel—it’s a holding cell for travelers who have no better option.||You’ll be issued a key, a tiny bar of soap, a travel-size shampoo, and a laundry basket. That’s it. No dishes, no utensils, no tissues, no paper towels. No housekeeping(!!??) And certainly no amenities that might suggest someone actually thought about the needs of a human being staying here.||Need something? Good luck. The front desk has never been staffed, it’s not 24/manned, and nobody even shows up until 8am. Not to mention the constant loud beeping from the lobby that creates an unwelcoming atmosphere that’s somewhere between a hospit

Positive: Nothing Negative: It is looking dirty, doesn't smell good, the room is of poor or substandard. The staff was very poor; I kept calling the staff to come and open the hotel entrance door for me and the staff took almost 30 minutes to open the door after I called 4 times.

This was probably one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. My room was very clearly not cleaned for some time. There was all kinds of hair and debris from outside on the floor. And the bugs were ridiculous! It started with just one or two small roaches, but by the end of the second day I had killed a handful and saw a bigger one on my bed! If it weren’t for my company putting me here, I would’ve asked for a full refund. The price might be cheap, but it’s definitely not worth it. The front desk staff was nice though.

The room was very smelly, there was roach. Feces on the wall.Hair in the shower, mold around the bottom of the toilet The hallways smelt like fish. Somebody's windshield had been busted out in the parking lot.Two cars away, along with their tires, flattened.People were begging for rides and people were climbing the trees.Smoking marijuana, the only good thing I have to say is the service at the front desk was great, but won't be back

When we got our room it looked someone had been sleeping on one of the beds. The other bed sheets were not clean. The room overall was not very clean.
