Hampton Inn & Suites North Charleston-University Blvd

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn Goose Creek and had a mixed but overall decent experience. At check in, I specifically asked for a top floor room because I am a light sleeper and with my luck there always seems to be someone making noise above me. I was told that the room I was assigned was as high up as available, which I appreciated at the time. When I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how large it was. It truly felt more like a suite than a standard room. Traveling alone, I almost did not know what to do with all the extra space. The room itself is a bit outdated and shows visible wear and tear, but the size was impressive. There were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and clean. The room is a nice size. The breakfast is good. The sweet lady named Toni that runs the breakfast area is so nice and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed and did it with a smile. The area was so clean. You can tell she loves her job.

This is one of the best experiences I have had staying at a motel. All of the staff at the front desk have been so helpful and pleasant. We have been there on 2 different visits and both times service and staff were excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Positive: The accommodation and area Negative: Yes , I had to asked for a second key card and that card was not activated. My tub after the first night was not clean

Fantastic hotel! Clean, spacious rooms and great breakfast. Beautiful traditional decor. About 20 mins from downtown. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Charleston area!
