Hotel Circulo

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Circulo for the last few days. The location just outside of Park Circle in North Charleston provides easy access to the many restaurants and night spots in the area. Our room was nothing short of spectacular with awesome modern furnishings, a super-comfortable king-size bed, and a welcoming sitting area. The hotel manager Julia is very attentive and responsive. We didn't need any assistance but have no doubt that quick response would be provided as needed. The hotel doesn't have a front desk; check-in was arranged via text message and keypad security. This worked out very well for us, we had no problems. In fact, it was dramatically better than the long line we "enjoyed" at a M****ot earlier in our trip. There is a very nice coffee shop next

I am very picky when it comes to picking hotel rooms, so I had high expectations for Hotel Circulo and they did NOT disappoint at all! The room was spacious, clean, and cutesy. The shower was wonderful with great water pressure. The bed was super comfy, & having the swivel tv was a good addition. Using the code to check in, use the elevator, and get into the room was easy. Lastly, the customer service was excellent. I had the privilege of meeting Julia in person outside for a quick minute when we first arrived. She responded to texts quickly and checked in occasionally to make sure everything was going well. We stayed for 3 nights, and I loved every second of it. We will definitely be back in the future.

We had a great stay! We had the king suite and it was large and comfortable! Very clean and spacious! Nice bathroom & comfortable bed. My only reason for not 5 stars all the way across is this is not a “staffed” service hotel. There was no coffee provided in the room (and there is no lobby here - it’s a self service hotel). There is a coffee place next door but it would be so much nicer to have a coffee maker in the room without having to go out to get it. Also - no cleaning service while we were there either so that may not be provided. Also, We had to pay $20 per night to park across the street (no onsite parking) but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall stay was great and would stay here again.

This is a gem of a hotel. It's pristine. The rooms are so posh. Comfy bed, cool living room, huge bathroom. The no front desk was not a problem, since I was coming and going in the morning and evenings. They still checked in on me and made sure I had what I needed. The coffee shop next door was great (busy on Saturday morning); however, as a non-coffee drinker a tea kettle in the room would have been preferred. Yes, it's in a different part of town, but it felt safe and was easy to find. The Holy City brewery was great and convenient for dinner when I arrived. On another night I texted for other restaurant recommendations and they immediately sent me a list and their favorite. (If you need a reasonably priced parking garage if you go in to Charleston, go to 25 Prioleau Street).

Hotel Circulo is truly one of the most visually stunning hotels I have ever stayed in. It is clear that an incredible amount of thought and attention to detail went into the design. The aesthetic combines elements of pop art with what felt like subtle inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright–style architecture. The hotel was impeccably clean, smelled fresh, and the quality of the furnishings and décor did not go unnoticed. I was genuinely impressed. The photos and reviews alone convinced me to book a night for my daughter and me while we were in town for a cheer competition. While the hotel itself is fantastic, the surrounding area did not feel as safe as I had hoped. I was unaware that the room doors face outward toward the street and sidewalk.
