WoodSpring Suites Milwaukee - Menomonee Falls

This place is very inexpensive. The good news stops there. The room was dirty (literally there was trash under the bed). There were crumbs in the beds. One of the bed frames was broken so it sagged on one side. The floors have no carpeting and are thin so you hear everyone’s steps in the halls and upstairs from you. This is an extended stay hotel with a stove, sink, fridge, and microwave. But it has no dishes, pots or pans, silverware, or anything else you could use to prepare or heat food. The bedspreads are so thin and scratchy you don’t want to feel them. The coffee machine in the lobby is broken.

Property is on a great location right off the highway. Entrance smelled great as well but that’s were the train stops. First they advertise a rate on apps but then charge you a more expensive rate because the app doesn’t include local and state taxes even though the quote they gave me included taxes. No Wi-Fi password was given. I had to figure it out on my own. They also up charge if you want faster internet. Beds didn’t have a box spring just a mattress that almost felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Even if this was a handicap accesible room, I can only imagine how much of a hard time someone would have getting up from the bed. No coffee maker is included in the room. All hotels offer this, even those cheap motel 6/super 8 types but not here. They will gladly rent you some kitchen

I stayed at this hotel for 4 months last year and it was really a great experience primarily because of the amenities and the management. I was disappointed when I found out that it's Under New Management. This is a long stay hotel and the new management has decided to remove all glasses and silverware and plates and pots and pans and knives from the rooms. And so unless you're going to spend a couple hundred bucks on these items the kitchenette is worthless now. I really liked this hotel the first time I stayed at it but I certainly would never stay here again.

This hotel is beautiful and amazing because of Valerie the GM. I knocked off 1 star for my rating due to the Assistant Manager, Ashley and her poor customer service skills! The day when I was looking for an extended stay I had spoke with several hotels. Everybody was rude and made limited effort to help me find a first floor room. When I called this hotel and Valerie picked up the phone, I knew immediately I was going to stay there. She was so sweet and helpful. She took her time and did some rearranging and found me a first floor room as requested. The staff and everybody I came in contact with was very helpful and sweet except for Ashley, the Assistant Manager. The two times I interacted with her she was short and snappy and Not helpful.
