Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Airport

The staff went above and beyond for our stay. Every staff member we encountered was extremely and genuinely hospitable. The food was great in the restaurant and the location was perfect by the airport. The rooms were nice and clean. The shower needs some updating though. Thank you for a great stay.

I don't usually like to stay at "airport hotels" because they're not always the best... however, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The front desk and restaurant staff were SO friendly. The restaurant food (dinner) was absolutely the best I've ever had at a hotel (you've gotta try the cheese curds and the red sangria!). The shuttle was easy and quick. The room was clean and comfortable.

Positive: The bar was open late and they served food till 1am. Also they served breakfast till 11!! This is the only hotel I’ve stayed at that has done both these things! A+!!!! Staff was uber friendly too!! Negative: ""

The hotel itself has a lot going for it. The bar and restaurant were genuinely great — good food, solid drinks, and a really pleasant atmosphere. I also loved the on-site shop, which was convenient and nicely stocked. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat and unsupportive, which made getting a good night’s sleep nearly impossible. For a hotel stay, that’s a pretty major issue. If the beds and pillows were upgraded, this place would be fantastic. As it stands, it’s a nice hotel to hang out in… just not a great one to sleep in.

Another airport hotel which thinks that as long as they provide you with the convenience of being near the airport, they can care less about sound insulation. Even with ear plugs, the plane noise woke me up before 6 am. And management please don't bother offering the usual platitudes about how you can make it right. Unless you decide to soundproof every room from the noise pollution, don't bother apologizing. The ultimate insult is the all too standard response of "come back and give us another try". Sure, since you wasted your money the first time, please come back and waste more money.
