Hyatt Place Milwaukee Downtown

The staff were wonderful from check n to check out, they were friendly, professional and helpful. |Upon check in I was greeted with a nice surprise of a gift bag filled with ice tea, water and treats for my room from the General Manager. The welcome gift really set the tone for the entire weekend. The rooms are appealing and clean, instant hot water in the shower, comfortable beds and pillows.|The hotel is conveniently located in the Brewery district walking distance to many wonderful breweries and restaurants, we were able to walk to the Pilot Project restaurant for dinner and then to St. James 1868 for a concert. It was so convenient and an easy walk. I would definitely go back to this location and recommend it to others.

Positive: The staff was excellent and very kind. Housekeeping came every day to tidy up and provide clean towels (without asking). The breakfast was yummy and just what you need to start your day off on a positive note. Negative: N/A

Amazing location, couldn’t ask for anything better. Valet parking was the best park, the attendants were kind and always attentive. The service and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend the Hyatt Place.

I stayed here in 2019 when I came to Milwaukee to lay my mother to rest and I put this hotel in my phone that if I ever came back this is where I would stay. I have now moved back and needed some me time. Ian, Sara, Melissa, Kevin, Onnah made my me time trip the most enjoyable peaceful time. Was able to connect with them. Great staff and place. And although the Block One Lounge fryer was down during my stay, they were still very helpful to me on making eating decisions. Grateful for their hospitality.

Comfortable hotel. Walkable to area restaurants. Parking garage down the block if you want to skip the valet. There appeared to be a lot of free parking out on the street as well, but with a snowstorm coming in we did not want to avail of street parking. The front desk staff is very friendly. My room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom shower is large and water pressure great. There are only 6 floors in the hotel, so it doesn't feel like an overwhelmingly big hotel. Breakfast is included and was basic but was fine.
