WoodSpring Suites Columbia - Irmo

Just checked in not long ago and I’m already super impressed! The hotel is spotless, everything looks and feels so clean. The girls at the front desk were so kind and helpful, Sage was the sweetest, and Chan was super knowledgeable and kind too! My room was perfectly clean and cozy. Overall, such a great experience already with beyond amazing customer service!

Nice place would stay again 

Pros: Hotel is new so everything is clean and tidy.|Cons: Lack of any amenities. We were traveling to the area to help with my son & daughter-in-law's relocation. We were looking for a place that they could stay for several days with pets until their house closing. I've stayed at places called suites before and this was not anything like that. You got a bed, small kitchen area (no cups, utensils, plates, cookware, coffee maker and bathroom. Thinking it was more like a TownePlace Suites or Homewood Suites and this was not the case.

Rooms were clean, walls were paper thin though & I could hear a pen drop in the next room.. Front desk was nice but not easily accessible. Long wait staff always in the back. Wifi here is a scam, can only connect 2 devices unless you pay for a package. Wifi should be complementary in my opinion. None the less great stay.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is not what you expect based on the details and descriptions provided. They obviously allow smoking because the hallways constantly smelled like marajuana. The room had a kitchen, but no utensils at all, making it completely useless. There was also no hair dryer in the room. On top of that, the hotel is extremely noisy. The hallway has wood floors, and you can clearly hear people walking, talking, and passing by, making it very hard to rest. This place is not worth the money. Instead of relaxing, the stay was stressful. I strongly suggest going somewhere else where you at least get basic amenities and free breakfast, rather than wasting your money here.
